Shantala Mack Interiors is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Byron Bay and engaged in projects Australia wide, specialising in joyful, timeless and elevated interiors.
With each project a unique reflection of the clients personality, Shantala’s spaces inform not only how we feel, but how we connect with ourselves and each other. Engaging the senses and nourishing the soul, Shantala’s designs help her clients elevate their experience of the everyday, to live their most beautiful and authentic lives, in the places they call home and the business they work in.
Delighting in the unexpected, she possesses a natural eye and an intuition for eclectic and distinctive furnishings, to create inspiring environments that make space for beauty at all times.
Knowing that the rooms we inhabit influence our lives in subtle but extraordinary ways, Shantala’s design philosophy strives to spark joy and cultivate connection, finding balance between beauty and comfort, elegance and effortlessness.

Shantala Mack Interiors is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Byron Bay specialising in high end residential and commercial interior design. Highly crafted furniture, styling and art curation for both residential and commercial interiors, as well as editorial styling for photographic shoots.
Shantala is a Byron Bay based Interior Designer whose philosophy stems from the belief that the places we spend time in deeply influence our lives and the way we feel.
Growing up in Byron Bay, her creativity found expression from an early age through art and photography, before a decade long career as a make-up artist in Melbourne. Relocating to Sydney to pursue Interior Design studies, Shantala honed her craft working with some of the most exciting names in interior design on a breathtaking array of projects, before launching her very own studio in 2022.
Passionate about creating soulful spaces that cultivate wellbeing and a sense of joy, Shantala practices thoughtful, sensory-led design. Creating spaces for blissful living, her specialty lies in honouring her clients personality through imaginative, intentional and (above-all) beautiful spaces.
